Adrokson

Adrokson (Adroxonum; list B) - hemostatic means. Applied to stop and prevention of bleeding associated with increased permeability of the walls of capillaries. On coagulation of blood , adrokson not affected. Prescribed for operations in the nasopharynx, the prostate gland, removing teeth - 1 ml of 0.075% solution 1-4 times before, during and after surgery topically, intramuscularly (subcutaneous), or combinations of these methods. Released in ampoules to 1 ml of 0.075% solution. Cm. also Hemostatic means.
