Agenesia

Agenesia (synonym aplasia) - partial or total congenital absence of an organ, body part. Due agenesia the death of the embryo of the body in the early period of intrauterine development. Agenesia vital organ or its part (for example heart) is incompatible with life. Aplasia in Hematology called the cessation of normal blood formation. Cm. also Malformations.
