Obstetric phantom

Obstetric phantom (Franz. fantome; from the Greek. phantasma - view image) -visual tutorial for teaching obstetrics. The simplest obstetric phantom consists of bone female pelvis and skeleton.avandia heads full-term fetus. Usually obstetric phantom is a pelvis, mounted in the lower half of the female torso with the upper half of the hips, and a doll representing full-term fetus. Phantom used to demonstrate the various provisions and abnormal presentations of the fruit, for the teaching of the mechanism of birth as normal and pathological conditions.
