Kynogon pharmacy - Anacyclus officinarum Hayne.
Family Asteraceae - Asteraceae Dum.
Annual plant with height of 40-80 see the taproot. The stalk bottom rounded, thickened, up thin and flat, upright. Leaves cut, sessile, next. Flowers are white, aggregated in calathids. Marginal flowers white, middle-tubular yellow. Blossoms in June. Bears fruit in August. The vegetation period is 140-150 days. Drought-resistant.
Probable Motherland - the Mediterranean. Naturally grows in Ukraine. In Europe it is cultivated very bad.
In folk medicine, decoction of the roots is used as a painkiller for toothache; in powder form - in the treatment of paralysis and rheumatism.
