Auro-palpebralis reflex

Auro-palpebralis reflex - blink reaction in response to irritation of receptors of a snail. Described Century M. Bekhterev (1903). For summoning spell power-palpebralis reflex sound should be sufficient force (40-45 dB above the hearing threshold for that person). With a very strong sound (over 100 dB) along with receptors snails irritated also sensitive receptors outer and middle ear and blink movement cannot be considered as a purely auditory reaction time. A.-P.R. can be used for detection of hearing impairment in children and in people feigning deafness.
