Falling out of a moving car

The loss of the passenger or the driver of a vehicle can occur when sudden braking, quick start driving, sharp turns, and other (Fig. 39).

Fig. 39. The direction of the fall of the body of the vehicle.

The loss of the passenger from the back of a truck (which happens most often) forward through the cabin is observed at the moment of sudden braking. The body of inertia continues to move forward and "encounters" on the back of the cockpit. Lower extremities and pelvis (depending on the height of booth) how would linger, and the body continues to move forward. Due to continuing bending the body forward the lower limbs are lifted above the floor of the body, some straight, and the head and body and leaned down. As a result, the passenger is flying through the cabin of the car in the direction of the motion. The human body, reaching a coverage of the road, hits his head and tipped over it, and it can cause damage on the back, front, or sides of the trunk and extremities.
Such three stages in the formation of injuries observed on a roll of passengers through the back and the side of the car with the only difference that when dumping the body through the head comes into contact with the road surface front surface of the chest and abdomen.
For damages to occur in persons who fell out of body or cab of the vehicle, is essential not only the height, and the speed of traffic.
At loss of a vehicle it is necessary to distinguish damage arising from a blow on the road surface, General shaking of the body, sliding on the floor of the road and hit some parts of the car.
Depending on the options drop the body of a vehicle engine damage can be different. At impact head arise local and structural damage to the bones of the skull and spine, brain and other internal organs of the total shaking body. At impact legs is most typical of injuries of bones of the feet and structural crises of bones of the lower leg or thigh, the bones of the skull. The substance of the brain and internal organs are injured because of the shaking of the body. At impact gluteal region are formed fractures of pelvic bones, fractures of the spine, skull bones, and damage to the brain and internal organs.
At the collision of the body arise direct broken ribs, spine, bone of the upper extremities, sometimes the skull and internal injuries.
Soft tissue injuries occur as abrasions, bruises and wounds that do not have any specific features. External injuries are minor, superficial and are usually located on the side of collision, while internal injuries multiple and extensive. The discrepancy between external and internal damage, and one-sided localization external damage is quite characteristic of impact on the ground when you fall out of a moving car.
