B - list of potent medicines, which should be kept with care, separately from other drugs. List B are listed in the Pharmacopoeia, he supplemented and modified by the orders of the Ministry of health of the USSR. To list B include medicinal raw materials, Galanova (extracts and tinctures) and novogalenovy drugs, finished medicines containing alkaloids and their salts, chloroform and ether, strong acids (hydrochloric, nitric, sulfuric), hypnotics, antipyretic, analgesic, anesthetic, heart drugs, sulfa drugs, sex hormones, and some vitamins.
Medicines list B, as well as a ready means of containing them should be stored in pharmacies and medical institutions in separate cabinets with the inscription "B - Heroica" (strong).
Preparations containing potent tools in therapeutic doses, are stored with conventional medicines. Rules of storage, registration and release of potent tools set out in the order of Ministry of health USSR № 523 on 3 July 1968
