Biophysics

Biophysics (biological physics) - the science of physical and physico-chemical phenomena related to living organisms, and on the effect of physical factors on the organism and its constituent organs, tissues and cells.
Methods of Biophysics widely used in the study (as in norm and in pathology) movements of a human body processes automatic regulation of biological systems, conversion of various types of energy in the body, bioelectrical phenomena, the permeability of biological membranes and processes underlying the radiation damage, etc.
