Coloboma iris: 1 - congenital; 2 - post operative.

Coloboma - congenital or acquired defect in one or more shell eyes (Fig.). Most frequent congenital of coloboma iris - defects pear shaped aimed narrow end down, sphincter pupil usually saved. Perhaps a combination of coloboma iris with colobomas of the choroid and retina, often suffers from sight. Sometimes coloboma occur in both eyes. Purchased coloboma can result in injury and after surgical interventions (for example, iridectomy).
