Depersonalization

Depersonalization syndrome, mental activity, where there is a feeling of perversity of their thoughts, feelings and movements of your own body. As a rule, these phenomena occur on the background of clear consciousness and a very unpleasant for the patient. The patient seems that the voice was strange, feelings, reactions to the surrounding some changed, "not him," movement, although they are conducted freely, too, as a strange thing. Sometimes lost the feeling of old mental "I" and all the personality of the patient seems different than before. When depressed depersonalization patients hard experience a total loss of all the senses, affections, desires (anesthetic depression). Often depersonalization combined with derealization (see). Depersonalization can be the basis of a special crazy syndrome, when the patient seems that his feelings, thoughts, desires, feelings specially change, taken away, replaced by someone else (see Delusional syndrome, Hallucinatory syndromes).
Depersonalization is observed more often at schizophrenia, circular depression, as well as in organic diseases of the brain.
