Dysphagia

Dysphagia is a disorder of swallowing. Is caused by mechanical obstruction in the upper digestive tract (throat, esophagus), damage of its walls, disorders of innervation or a combination of these reasons. Dysphagia occurs when inflammatory and malignant processes in the tongue, throat, esophagus, or in the surrounding tissues and lymph nodes, and when ulceration of the walls of the upper digestive tract. Less dysphagia occurs when trigeminal neuralgia, language-pharyngeal, verkhneportovaja nerves and functional spasm of the muscles. Dysphagia can be observed in the cardiovascular, infectious and malignant processes in the brain. Treatment is the removal of the cause of the dysphagia.
