Methods of registration of ECG

Single pole diversion from limbs. For characteristics of the potentials of individual limbs, the potential difference which is registered in the standard leads, Wilson suggested unipolar diversion from limbs. This indifferent electrode, as when registering breast SPST leads, formed by the connection of the electrodes placed on this limb, and the second, differently, impose turn on the right arm, left arm and left leg.

EMF, registered in the enlarged single pole lead on left leg, equal to the sum of EMF, registered in the II and III standard leads, divided by two.
The algebraic sum of the potentials of all three enlarged single pole from limbs leads, as the algebraic sum of the difference of potentials, registered in standard leads, almost equal to zero.
