Anastos

Anastos (enostosis, from the Greek. en - in, inside and osteon - bone) is a symptom of abnormal formation of bone inside the bones, andasta, under the influence of various processes. Atopiceski this process as opposed to exostosis (see), periostat and otazu (see Actos deforming) should be referred for bone marrow space. The newly formed bone the substance can take it a limited section or, spreading throughout the bones, cause diffuse thickening of the cortical layer up to the complete obliteration of medullar channel (Buriatia bones; Fig. 1).
Lifetime recognition anastasa possible only with the help of x-ray studies. After the painting of anastasa often set the character of the disease. For example, when osteoplastic form osteogenic sarcoma detected limited unstructured anastos with blurred boundaries; with marble disease installee education bones creates pronounced narrowing and even the disappearance of the medullar channel, and if osteopoikilosis - multifocal structure consolidation of the spongy substance (primarily peripheral extremity bones). However, the diagnosis should take into account the totality of clinical-radiological symptoms. Anastos often develops simultaneously with ostapom and periosteum. About Anastase in a narrow sense, we can speak only in cases when it is quantitatively clearly prevails over the adjacent localization of pathological formation of bone substance.
In addition anastasa that have a clear origin (with tumors, systemic diseases, high mechanical load), there are manifestations of focal Anastase, the cause of which remains unknown (Fig. 2). Clinically anastos of this kind there are no symptoms as a particular state of bone substance and not as a developing pathological process. It includes, in particular, the so-called compact Islands spongy bone. Anastos should be seen as a symptom of pathological changes in various diseases of the bones.
