Epididymectomy

Epididymectomy is the delete operation of the epididymis. Most often carried out at specific epididimit (tuberculosis, gonorrhea, syphilis, brucellosis).
If during the operation, it appears that the inflammatory process moved to the egg (see), together with an Appendix removed and the adjacent part of the testicle, but not more than 2 cm in diameter; more extensive resection leads to necrosis of the testis. During operations, together with an Appendix of excised part of the spermatic cord to the external opening of the inguinal canal.
In tuberculous the epididymitis (see) to prevent the spread of process on an appendage and egg opposite side in some cases resorted to the intersection and bandaged parts VAS duct healthy side.
