Eucalyptus ball (Eucalyptus globulus Labill.) cultivated plant. Leaves contain essential oil. A decoction of the leaves (10 g on 1 glass of water) or 20% of the infusion, 70% alcohol use for lotions or rinses as antiseptic agent in the treatment of infected wounds, fistulas and ulcers, inflammatory diseases of female genital organs, and to rinse throat. Eucalyptus oil (10-15 drops on 1 glass of boiled water) is used for steam inhalation for diseases of the respiratory tract. Approved for use and other types of eucalyptus trees growing in the USSR,eucalyptus ash (Eucalyptus cinerea Muell.) and eucalyptus Loozen (Eucalyptus viminalis Labill.).
