  • Moral whether euthanasia?
  • Euthanasia (or the chance of a merciful euthanasia) - artificial acceleration of the death of the sick. Euthanasia should be dealt with moral, professional medical and legal interrelated items. The disease can be accompanied by severe feelings and emotions; prolonged suffering of the patient can be so painful that he has a desire to terminate them with his life. Here is formed access to a doctor with a request to artificially accelerate the onset of death.
The question about the possibility of the existence of such rights by a doctor, apparently arose together with medicine and accompanies the history of its development, receiving different treatment. Categorical prohibition to accelerate the death of the patient existed in the form of rules already in ancient Greek doctors. Subsequently this rule is adhered to most physicians. In severe and life-threatening conditions patient's sometimes difficult, but always important and necessary right choice norms and forms of medical ethics.
In our country are "fundamentals of the legislation of the USSR and Union republics on health care, according to which "in medical practice doctors use methods of diagnosis, prevention and treatment, medicines, authorized by the Ministry of health of the USSR" (article 34). Therefore, any actions of medical workers, who violate this provision of the law, especially relating to euthanasia are illegal, may acquire characteristics of a criminal offence.
If there is an administrative or criminal investigation in connection with the violation of the provisions set Art. 34 of the "Bases of the legislation of the USSR and Union republics on health care, then, as a rule, used in practice of forensic examination. For its consideration and decision usually answers the questions: on the nature and severity of the disease or damage, timely and correct choice of methods of diagnostics and treatment, indications and contraindications) the application of a method or medicine, on the application of correct dosage of drugs, instructions to their introduction and so on
