The method Ginza

Ginza method - the method of staining microorganisms that are used to identify their capsules. In the middle of the slide put a drop of ink, mixed loop with a drop of culture, edge cover glass smear, fixed with mercuric chloride, methyl alcohol, or flame. After washing with water immerse 5-10 minutes in a solution of carbolic tinina or Magenta, washed and dried. Bacteria make purple or red on a black background; capsules remain unpainted.
