Hepato-renal syndrome

Hepato-renal syndrome (synonym hepatic pochetnyi syndrome) is a complex of symptoms that occurs when the liver and kidneys. Close anatomical and functional relationship between the liver and kidneys causes their combined defeat. Hepato-renal syndrome usually characterized by jaundice, the appearance of the component parts of bile in the urine, change in liver size, or appearance in the urine protein cylinders, red blood cells, increasing the residual nitrogen in the blood and so on
Hepato-renal syndrome can cause: infection (Intero-haemorrhagic spirochetes, fever, sepsis), intoxication (mushroom poison, arsenic, phosphorus, mercury), transfusion of blood incompatible, toxicosis of pregnancy, burns, lesion of the liver (hepatitis, surgical interventions), lesions of the kidneys (nephritis, surgical interventions on the urinary organs). The treatment should be aimed at eliminating the factor that caused the disease; at the same time should be conducted and therapies recommended for diseases of the liver and kidneys.
