Histology is the area of morphology studying the structure, development (histogenesis), livelihoods (histophysiology) body tissues of animals and humans.
Histology is inseparable from Cytology (the science of the cell) and microscopic anatomy of the organs. Histological studies conducted in fixed preparations with a microscope (light, electronic and other)and in vivo conditions. The study of the tissues, changing in the process of disease, is the task histopathology (see Pathological anatomy).
