Gynecology children

This guide covers gynecological diseases of childhood. The appearance of the guidelines dictated by the demands of daily practice. Another 10-20 years ago, the parents turned to the doctor about of gynecological diseases in girls much less than at present. What explains this phenomenon? We cannot say that the number of gynecological diseases among children has increased; the fact that parents previously prevented a false sense of shame, and health education was at a lower level. In families with a small number of children, the parents pay more attention not even a very significant complaints of children and in the context of increased medical culture are treated in a timely manner to the doctor. So gradually emerged a special branch of medicine - gynecology in children.
Earlier the parents of a child suffering from gynecological disease, usually addressed to the pediatrician, therapist, dermatologist or surgeon, and least likely to gynaecologist. Of the complaints of the child and on the basis of a number of symptoms was found that there is a disease of the reproductive organs, and that the most competent specialist is a gynecologist. I must say that gynecologists, with rare exceptions, did not give children enough attention. This attitude gynecologists child is partly due to the various methods of research; complaints of the child are treated quite differently than adult women; as an example it is enough to cite the clinic whiter or dysmenorrhea.
At present, all countries of the world there is a process of specialization; the few authors have tried to summarize information from the field of gynecology, children's age.
About the necessity of publication of this guide is evidenced by the fact that in the publishing house at the same time received two manuscripts on this topic. The authors of the two papers have created one manual, which are thoroughly illustrated both theoretical issues and practical problems. Both authors have considerable experience in the field of gynecology children; one of them is for 15 years regular gynecologist consultant paediatric clinic.
This guide is published for the first time; it outlines all diseases related to children. Also, cover the following issues: the harmful effects of drugs, pregnancy in young children, problems of education and health of girls from the point of view of a gynecologist. The manual will be useful not only for gynecologists, but also for pediatricians (school doctors).
The manual is pretty well illustrated schematic drawings and tables. In the preparation of these tables, the authors ' goal was to acquaint the reader with standard indicators. In older textbooks and manuals function of the sexual organs in children taught only in General terms; specific digital data contained in them very rarely.
