Microscope

Microscope - optical device for learning objects invisible to the naked eye. In microscope (Fig. 1) there are mechanical and optical parts. The mechanical part of the device consists of legs attached to it tubulidentata, which is attached a tube, eyepieces and objectives (change lenses by using revolving device), object table and lighting unit with mirror. The tube is attached to tubulidentata adjustably, raised and lowered by means of two screws: micrometer screw is preset focus; micrometric screw - for fine focus. Sample table is provided with a device that allows you to move the drug in different directions in the horizontal plane. Lighting apparatus consists of a condenser and aperture between a mirror and a little table.

Using aperture adjusts the intensity of the light falling on the condenser. The condenser may move in the vertical direction by changing the intensity of light entering the lens. Lenses are mutually system centered lens, which reverse the magnified image of the object. Zoom lenses are on the frame (X10, X20, X40, H). The lenses are of two types: dry and immersion (immersion). Immersion lens first of all put in the immersion oil using macavinta under the control of the eyes, and then, by manipulating the micro-screw, get a sharp image of the object. The eyepiece is an optical system that increases the image through the lens. Zoom eyepiece listed on the rim (X5 and so on). The total magnification equals to the product of the zoom lens on zoom eyepiece.

With a microscope, you can work in the daylight and artificial light, using as a source of light special lighting apparatus (Fig. 2). When working with condenser use flat mirror regardless of the source of illumination. With a concave mirror work without condenser.
