Mystatic (from the Greek. mys, myos - muscle and statikos - related balance setting) - a set of mechanisms locomotor system, determining the muscle tone, which ensures the maintenance of body position in space and poses, against which runs physical activities.. the Concept introduced by Strompilen (A. Strumpell).
Mystatic combines static reflexes, supporting the position of the body when lying down, standing or sitting, and statokinetic - passive and active movements. It represents a complex of tonic reflexes that occur with different receptive fields (vestibular system, skin, joints, tendons, muscles, etc).
