Mielosan

Mielosan (Myelosanum; list a) - antineoplastic. Applied for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia. Assign mielosan inside 0,002-0,003 g 1 - 3 times a day. As complications can occur vascular dystonia, temporary amenorrhea, pigmentation of skin, decrease in sexual function in men.
Higher doses: single - 0,006 g daily - 0,01, the Form of release of Malasana: pills 0,002 g

Experimental study showed that M. causes neutropenia; limfopenia not developing. In the treatment of chronic myeloleukemia of mielosan applied into daily for 4-8 mg (depending on the number of leukocytes in peripheral blood) until remission, usually within 3-6 months. Clinical effect is expressed in reduction in spleen and total leukocyte count with the gradual normalization of the blood formula and the disappearance of immature myeloid cells.
After a period of remission apply a maintenance dose of Malasana from 0.5 to 2 mg per day. It is believed that M in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia is superior to all other chemotherapy drugs.
Mielosan gives therapeutic effect when erythremia.
