Muscle tissue

The muscle - tissue, providing motor function in animals and humans. There are smooth and striated muscle tissue.
Smooth muscle tissue is part of the walls of internal organs, blood vessels, skin. Its structural element is spindle cell length about 100 MQ, composed of the cytoplasm (sarcoplasm), which are the core and contractile filaments - smooth myofibrils.
Striated muscle tissue forms the skeletal muscles and is a part of some internal organs (tongue, throat, esophagus, larynx). It is built of muscle fibers of lengths up to 12 see fibers consist of sarcoplasmic in which there is a large number of cores (up to 20-40 per 1 mm,2). Kernel lie on the periphery of the fiber, and sarcoplasm are of myofibrils. The latter consist of alternating dark and light drive. Dark disks contain fat - protein filaments (myosin), and in light of disks are thin thread (actin). With the reduction of muscle fibers actin filaments are between myosin.
A special type of striated muscle is the muscle of the heart: it fibers have a large number of "communications" and a huge number of mitochondria.
For the organization of different types of muscle tissue characterized by the following signs: all muscle cells and fibers of connective tissue surrounded by cases in which vessels and nerves pass.
