Negatoscope - lighting device for viewing x-rays in passing light (Fig.). Light box is made in the form of a box, painted from the inside white to light scattering and equipped with conventional electric or fluorescent lamps, evenly covering the front wall, matte or milk glass. Modern negatoscopes have the power regulator light for studying x-rays of different density and blind to limit the field of lighting. The upper part of the front wall of the viewing box is equipped with a device for hanging of the LMS and the lower the gutter to drain water from the wet radiographs.
