Public sanitary inspector - social assistant medical officer, epidemiologist, district and workshop doctor in the conduct of sanitary and health, anti-epidemic and other preventive measures. The most important role of public sanitary inspectors play in the current sanitary supervision over compliance with sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic regulations on industrial enterprises, cultural-domestic, commercial institutions, public catering enterprises, in institutions, collective farms and other objects subject to sanitary control. The duties of a public sanitary inspectors shall comply voluntarily in their spare time workers, employees, farmers, students and other groups of the population, mostly from among the members of red cross and red Crescent societies. Public sanitary inspectors are approved by the chief doctor of the sanitary-epidemiological station of the district or city, in consultation with local trade unions and Society Committee of the red cross and red Crescent societies usually for a period of two years. Public sanitary inspectors are mandatory training organized by the sanitary epidemiological station, 20 hours (for public health inspection of agricultural objects 22-hour) program of sanitary minimum, after which they receive a special certificate signed by the chief doctor of the sanitary-epidemiological Department and the Chairman of Committee of the red cross and red Crescent societies. Public sanitary inspectors shall have the right upon the presentation of ID to visit assigned to them the objects of verification, to review the materials, characterizing the sanitary condition of the object, to make through the sanitary-epidemiological station suggestions about how to resolve marked sanitary violations and to make the survey instrument.
