Fentolamin

Phentolamine (Phentolaminum; synonym Regitine; list B) - adrenolytic tool. Used for disorders of peripheral blood circulation (illness Reynaud, endarteritis, acrocyanosis), in the treatment of trophic ulcers limbs, pressure ulcers, frostbite, for the purpose of diagnosis of pheochromocytoma and during removal of the tumor. Appoint fentolamin inside of 0.05 g, intramuscular and intravenous 1 ml of 0.5% solution (water solution are ex tempore). Side effects fentolamina: dizziness, tachycardia, redness and itching of the skin, swelling of mucous membranes, diarrhoea disorders; possible orthostatic collapse (see), so to avoid the patient should at the time of injection and within 2 hours after her to be in a position lying. Method of production: powder and pills fentolamin hydrochloride 0.025 g; sterile powder fentolamin of methanesulfonate in ampoules 0.005 g for preparation of solutions for injection.
