Ftivazid

Ftivazid (Phthivazidum; synonym Vanizide; list B) - TB drug. Close to isoniazid (see), but is less toxic. Applied for the treatment of all forms of TB, especially in out-patient conditions. Assign inside to food 0.5 g 2-3 times a day. Higher doses: single - 1 g daily - 2, When taking ftivazide can be observed violations of the functions of the Central and peripheral nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, allergic reactions. Ftivazid contraindicated in angina, heart diseases with decompensation, organic diseases of the Central nervous system, non-tubercular kidney. Method of production ftivazide: powder and tablets 0.1; 0.3 and 0.5 g
