Halothane

Halothane (Phthorothanum; list B) is a tool for inhalation narcosis. Halothane suppresses the secretion of salivary and bronchial glands, relaxes bronchial muscles, lowers blood pressure.
The use of adrenaline and noradrenaline during anaesthesia is contraindicated in connection with the fact that halothane increased sensitivity to attack, and as a result may occur cardiac arrhythmia. Nausea and vomiting after anesthesia are rare.
