Digestive hormones

The hormones produced in the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal tract, take an active part in the regulation of secretory and motor functions of the digestive system and in detail is studied mainly by physiologists in the experiment. They have a polyvalent action that impedes their clinical examination and evaluation of pathophysiological role in ulcer. It is supposed, that in conditions of a pathology violated the synthesis of hormones and the normal reaction of secretory and muscle cells on their action (I. So Kurzin, 1968).
The study of the digestive hormones in the clinic, in various biological fluids, in different phases of the disease has allowed more potent discuss their participation in the development of peptic ulcers.
