Gravy and sauces

Gravy made from rice flour. Melt in a saucepan 3 tablespoons of fat. Add 2 tablespoons rice flour and cook, stirring occasionally. Gradually add 1¼ Cup soy mixture, stirring constantly to get a uniform mass. Simmer until thick, add salt and pepper to taste.
Gravy from rye flour. Melt in a saucepan 3 tablespoons of fat. Add 2 tablespoons of rye flour and cook, stirring occasionally. Slowly pour a simple glass of soy mixture, stirring constantly until a uniform mass. Simmer until thick, add salt and pepper to taste.
Sauce from rye flour. In a quart saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons vegetable margarine. Add 2 tablespoons of rye flour and mix until a uniform mass. Add a simple glass of soy mixture and cook, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste.
