Grayish, velvety pubescent plant 20-50 cm tall. The root is stalky. The tetrahedral stalk, very fuzzy, fork-branched. Leaves are opposite, oblong-ovate, with strong pubescence from below. Flowers dvugubye, purple, collected in whorls in loose spike-shaped inflorescences.
In our conditions blossoms in June; bears fruit in July.
Distributed in the Mediterranean. Everones.
