Scleritis

Scleritis - inflammation of the sclera (deep), accompanied by a sharp eye irritation, pain and education in the sclera deep, reddish, sometimes with a purple tinge of infiltration. Scleritis is often complicated by keratitis (see) and iridocyclitis (see). Inflammation of the surface layers of the sclera (episcleritis) phenomena irritation expressed less visual acuity is usually not affected. Etiology sclerite: rheumatism, a tuberculosis, a gout, brucellosis, viral and other infections.
Treatment: instillation atropine, cortisone (prednisolone), antibiotics, local heat UHF-therapy.
