Limited forms of scleroderma

Limited forms of scleroderma often develop after infectious diseases, injuries, cooling.
There are patchy, ribbon and surface scleroderma.
Plaque scleroderma is manifested by one or more spots of various size, oval, round-shaped, purple-pink, slightly above the level of the skin. Gradually the Central part of the condensed sklerosiruta), acquires ivory, and the regional area remains in the form of purple rings, indicating the progression of the process. Surface scleroderma is described under different names: teardrop, spot, white or spotted scleroderma, kartouzska scleroderma, "white spot disease". Characterized by small (a few millimeters, whitish color slightly infiltrated spots of various shapes, the resolution of which remains skin atrophy. The forecast is favorable for life; on the lesions develop irreversible skin atrophy.
Treatment. Intramuscularly penicillin in conventional doses, hyaluronidase, vitamins B1 PP, E, injections of vitreous body, extract of aloe. Shows the thermal procedures (paraffin, mud cure, diathermy), ultrasound, hydrogen-sulphidous baths, iontophoresis with lidsay.
