Stasis

Stasis - stagnation, stop in the lumen of any tubular body's physiological content: blood stasis (hemostasis), fecal stasis (koprestas), urinary stasis, lymphostasis.
In medical practice, most often it is a question about the arrest of blood flow in capillaries (capillary stasis) or Vienna (venous stasis). Hemostasis is formed due to mechanical obstacles normal blood flow (thrombosis, tourniquet), the impact of infectious or toxic agents, changes in vascular tone in connection with the violation of the nervous regulation (for example, typhus). When stasis red blood cells form a clot, which may again fall apart. With long-term stasis may develop necrosis.
