Light sensation

Light sensation - this feeling that occurs when the eye of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength range from 380 to 760 MMK. Due to the absorption of light quanta in the receptor cells of the retina occurs photochemical decomposition of visual pigments. This leads to stimulation of the cells, which is held forth as an electrochemical process for visually-nerve paths to the visual centers of the brain, where it is converted into light sensation.
