Synovectomy

Synovectomy - excision of the synovial lining of the joint. Synovectomy can be full or partial. Indications: tuberculosis or other infectious proliferative diseases capsules or other parts of the joint. Most often synovectomy used when lesions of the knee, rarely hip, elbow and other joints.
