In these conditions it is possible to find out the impact of specific local factors and applied anticariogenic drugs on the frequency and distribution of dental caries, which is very difficult to establish clinical observations. The similarity of development and morphological identity caries process in humans and experimental animals (rats) allow to count on the prospects of such research when new hygienic and treatment-and-prophylactic toothpaste.
In the first series of experiments (229 rats "Vistar") studied the influence of mechanical one - and two-cleaning teeth Cretaceous toothpaste on the incidence of dental caries, and also studied local anticariogenic action of some known pastes ("Forest", "Mint", "White-pink" and "Pomorin") in experimental caries in animals.
The animals of the experimental group got cariogenic diet with 30-day life. At the same time they began processing teeth described pastes.
