Trichostrongyllosis (trichostrongylidoses) is a parasitic infection caused by thread-like worms family Trichostrongylidae (Fig.), parasitizing in the small intestines of man, large and small cattle Released from faeces sick people and animals eggs of parasites to Mature in the soil, where in the development process is formed larva, which is quickly becoming invasive, i.e. is able to infect humans or animals. The clinical picture. Marked the decline of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, unstable chair, headache, paleness of skin and mucous membranes, sometimes hypochromic or normohromnaja anemia, eosinophilia.

Treatment. Apply naftamon on an empty stomach 2 hours before Breakfast. One time (daily) dose of Saptamona: children under 5 years of 2-2,5 g, 6-8 years - 3 g, 9-10 years - 4 g over 10 years and adults - 5, the Daily dose stir in 50 ml of sugar syrup and gives the patient to drink at once. Treatment for 5 consecutive days. Laxative not appointed.
