Triftazin

Triftazin (Trifthazinum; synonym stelazin; list B) neuroleptic drug. On the chemical structure and pharmacological properties similar to chlorpromazine (see). More of chlorpromazine on sedative and antiemetic effect. Applied mainly for the treatment of various forms of schizophrenia. Assign inside, starting with 0,001-0,002 g 1-2 times a day and gradually increasing the dose of 0.03-0.1 g per day. Intramuscularly in cases requiring a rapid effect, on 0.5-1 ml of 0.2% solution (not more than 0,006 grams per day). As an antiemetic appoint 0,001-0,002 g per reception. Forms: tablets and pills 0,001; 0,002; 0.005 and 0.01 g; 0.2% solution in vials of 10 ml
