Cavernous tuberculosis of the lungs called the relatively fresh forms of tuberculosis with the formed cavity (see). Surrounding lung tissue almost not changed (Fig. 7).
Patients cavernous TB are subject to long-term treatment with antibacterial drugs. In the absence of the effect after chemotherapy, surgery shows, which often may be limited resection segment or removal of one lobe of the lung.
