Urethrography

Urethrography is the method of roentgenologic examination of the urethra. When ascending urethrography Sergazin, cardiotest or other liquid contrast agent is injected into the urethra and make a picture in oblique projections in the analyzed on the back. When descending urethrography after injection of a contrast agent into the bladder or after its completion during urography (see) take a picture during urination. On urethrogram recognize anomalies, diverticula, narrowing, stones, foreign body, inflammation and swelling of the urethra, and set the location of its rupture with the trauma.
