The concept of poison

Under the poison means a substance that, when introduced into the body in small amounts, acting chemical or physical-chemical way, causing health disorder or death. Caused by the substance, the disease is called a poisoning. Disorder of health caused various poisonous substances produced in the body, for example, as a result of infringement of metabolism, is not a poisoning in the above sense.
Some toxic substances in microdoses have long been used in medical practice as a medicinal substances and the State Pharmacopoeia they are included in list "a". Production, acquisition, keeping, accounting, dispensing, transportation or sending of such substances are regulated by special rules, the violation of which may be followed by disciplinary, administrative and criminal liability.
The largest number of poisoning is caused several major groups of chemicals.
